Senior Project Officer and Project Officer Vacancy Details

IIPS Mumbai is currently seeking qualified professionals for the Longitudinal Ageing Project in India (LASI). The distribution of the 04 available positions is as follows:

  • Senior Project Officer (Research): 01 Post
  • Senior Project Officer (IT): 01 Post
  • Project Officer (Research): 02 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the specific educational requirements for their chosen post:

  • Senior Project Officer (Research): PhD degree (awarded or submitted) in Population Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, or Demography. Alternatively, a Post Graduate degree in these subjects with at least 3 years of experience in social or community-based research is required.
  • Senior Project Officer (IT): M.E./M.Tech in Computer Engineering/Science with 1 year of experience, or B.E./B.Tech in IT/Computer Science with 2 years of experience, or an MCA with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Project Officer (Research): M.Phil in Population/Social Sciences, Statistics, or Mathematics, or an M.P.S. with 1 year of experience. Candidates with an MA/MSc in these disciplines and 2 years of experience in large-scale health or social sector surveys are also eligible.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age relaxation is provided as per government norms, with 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.
